        INDIAN CONSUMERS VOTE LUMINOUS AS INDIA’S NO.1 DIGITAL INVERTER

 

It brings us great delight to inform you that Luminous Inverters has left all it’s competitors behind and been voted as India’s No 1 Digital Inverter brand in the consumer world Awards 2004, held on March 23rd, 2005 at Tivoli Gardens, New Delhi.

MERA BRAND is the first big step in creating a benchmark index for the most preferred brands in the country.  The key difference that makes MERA BRAND index stand tall amongst all its contemporary awards is that it empowers the consumers to decide on which are the most preferred brands in India. It reflects the endeavor by AMGF Intercorp Limited to rid the market of all controversy and misleading claims by brands and bring true democracy in the world of Branding.

The Award includes FMCG sectors, Household appliances, Consumer Durables, Media Habits (Print, Electronic media etc) and Services segment (Airlines and Cellular Brands etc…).

The awards are based on consumer preferences. It is the result of the independent, nationwide consumer survey and poll conducted through, face – to – face interviews across 31 major cities & 225 major towns and villages across the country and, online polling. It is the transparent and unbiased process as there is no Jury involved. It is adjudged on the basis of cumulative score of preferences earned by the brand, through both the channels, in respective categories. MERA BRAND is entirely based on the verdict of the Indian consumers for the most preferred brands in respective category.

The questionnaire was hosted for online polling through media partners Rediff.com. The Official Research Partner and Analyst, TNS India (formerly known as NFO World Group) conducted face –to – face interviews, tabulated and assessed the responses generated from both the channels, online polling as well as field interviews that were conducted across India. The Official Notary, Ernst & Young has tested the survey, poll data, and tabulations thereof and has notarized the final results.
