 RETAIL PRO SYSTEM

Retail Pro 8 series addresses the needs of specialty retailers with its multi-channel solution to inventory control, point-of-sale, merchandising, e-commerce, corporate management and more.

Retail Pro has expanded steadily since 1986 through eight software generations. Today's Retail Pro 8 series is a 32-bit Windows application that extends the proven, stable functionality of Retail Pro with the full power of current Windows NT, Internet, and database development technologies. System features include touch screen, integrated e-commerce, data mining, decision support, accounting link, and much more.

The Retail Pro system is highly scalable and is issued in editions that fit the size of the user. Retail Pro Merchant Edition (ME) is ideal for established independent retailers, up to 20-50 or more stores. Retail Pro Shop Edition (SE) is the proven system for the retail entrepreneur, having the right functionality to run one to three shops. For larger retail accounts, Retail Pro offers an Oracle-based option called Corporate Edition (CE).

RTI employs a dedicated team of engineers, designers, technicians and support staff to ensure ongoing research, development and marketing. The distribution of Retail Pro is global. RTI has developed an international network of 65 authorized RTI business partners who provide local sales information, hardware, installation, training, technical support and customer service.

 REVEAL

REVEAL is a software technology company participating in an extraordinary growth market that will revolutionize the way in which pedestrian related businesses such as retailers manage the “front end” of their businesses. REVEAL uses proprietary leading edge computer vision technology combined with advanced integration and analysis software tools to accurately monitor the front end of pedestrian focused businesses; an area where businesses have effectively had to operate in an information vacuum until now. This information, and the analysis provided by the REVEAL system is used to significantly improve performance.

The front end for pedestrian related businesses is the last remaining area where any significant profit improvement can be made; REVEAL provides the necessary tools.

Whilst the concept of Retail Performance Management by the use of KPIs, particularly Conversion Rate, has been discussed by retailers and consultants for some time there had previously been no effective way to measure them.

Now, with the introduction of the REVEAL system, this has become possible. In addition REVEAL have provided other features and modules to make the use and analysis of these KPI’s simpler and more effective.

Even though Conversion Rate has been promoted by many retail experts as one of, if not the most, important KPI some retailers are hesitant in its use due to their lack of direct experience in its use. Furthermore, Due to the scale of the investment, some retail groups are hesitant to make this level of commitment in spite of a general acceptance of the concept and its advantages.
